Carrots and Grapes |
INGREDIENTS: |
1/3 c Lemon Whipped Honey
Spread |
3 c cooked sliced carrots |
1 c green grapes, halved |
1/4 c butter |
2 tsp cornstarch |
1/8 tsp cinnamon |
PROCEDURE: |
Melt
butter i n small saucepan; blend in cornstarch. Add honey, lemon juice and cinnamon. Cook,
stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Add glaze to
carrots and grapes and stir to mix. Serve immediately. |

| Chinese
Honeyed Chicken |
INGREDIENTS: |
1/4 c Lemon Whipped Honey
Spread |
1/4 c soy sauce |
1/4 c lemon juice |
2 3lb frying chickens |
2 eggs |
1/4 c melted butter |
PROCEDURE: |
Cut
chickens into serving pieces; arrange in shallow baking pan.
Beat eggs
slightly. Add
melted butter, soy sauce, lemon juice and honey; mix well.
Pour sauce over chickens, turning to coat. Bake, uncovered,
in 350°F
oven for 2 hours or until done, turning and basting twice. |

| Citrus
Honey Carrots |
INGREDIENTS: |
2 T Lemon Whipped Honey Spread |
1 bunch carrots, choose thin
ones |
1 1/2 tsp grated orange peel |
2 T Orange Whipped Honey Spread |
1/4 c butter or margarine |
1 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel |
PROCEDURE: |
Wash
and scrape carrots and leave whole. Cook in 1 inch boiling water until tender
crisp - about 15-20 minutes. Drain. Combine rest of ingredients
and pour over cooked carrots in pan and cook over low heat
until carrots are thoroughly glazed. |

| Melon
Boat Ambrosia |
INGREDIENTS: |
2 T Lemon Whipped Honey Spread,
liquefied |
1 honeydew melon |
1 small can pineapple chunks,
drained |
1 cantaloupe |
1/2 lb green seedless grapes |
coconut |
PROCEDURE: |
Cut melons in half, lengthwise,
and remove seeds. Scoop out balls with melon scoop. Combine melon
balls, grapes, pineapple. Liquefy Lemon Whipped Honey Spread
in microwave for 10 seconds. Mix with fruit and mix gently. Serve
in scooped-out melon rinds. Sprinkle with grated coconut. |

Fruit Dressing |
INGREDIENTS: |
2 T Lemon Whipped Honey Spread |
1/2 c mayonnaise |
2 T cream cheese |
1/2 tsp grated lemon peel |
PROCEDURE: |
Combine
ingredients and mix well. For flavor variation you may
substitute Orange Whipped Honey Spread and 1/2 tsp grated orange
peel. |

'n' Sour Sauce |
INGREDIENTS: |
1/4 c Lemon Whipped Honey
Spread |
2 T vinegar |
1
T chopped or sliced red peppers |
1/8 tsp paprika |
PROCEDURE: |

all ingredients; mix
well. Heat until flavors are blended. |

Honey Salad Dressing |
INGREDIENTS: |
1 6 oz (160 gram) jar Lemon
Whipped Honey Spread |
1/2 tsp dry mustard |
1/4 tsp salt |
1/2 tsp celery salt |
1 tsp paprika |
1/4 c vinegar |
1 c salad oil |
| 1 tsp lemon juice |
PROCEDURE: |
| Mix the dry ingredients together.
Add honey, lemon juice and vinegar. Slowly add the salad oil,
beating until well blended. Makes 2 cups. |
